Impact Investing via Donor-Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are philanthropic and social impact investment tools that allow donors (individuals, families, corporations, etc.) to fund special accounts through DAF “sponsor” organizations. Donors receive immediate U.S. income tax deductions and maintain allocation privileges over the fund’s distribution. DAFs can also be used as powerful educational tools for younger generations wishing to become angel investors and have a safe training ground in which to learn the fundamentals of impact investing.
Learn more about Donor-Advised Funds in the webinar and some of the innovative ways investors are utilizing these financial mechanisms to better allocate funds into the socially and environmentally impactful causes they support.
